Pico de Gallo
Spicy, flavorful salsa from the Yucatan Peninsula that will make your taste buds dance!
Ingredients
3 tomatoes, diced
¼ red onion, diced
1 bunch of cilantro, finely chopped
1 serrano or jalapeño or habeñero (optional for however much heat you want)
½ tablespoon of salt
1/8 cup of orange juice
1/8 cup of lime juice
Directions
Add all the ingredients from above and adjust for salt, acid and spice
Notes
In the video recipe (above), I didn’t add spice cause of lil’Branzino. But normally would add at least one serrano for heat
Using red onions and orange juice is a pico de gallo from more of the Yucatan Peninsula area so before the haters sear me with “inauthenticity” this comes pretty close
