Ingredients
2 medium sized red onions
2 cups of rice wine vinegar or any vinegar of choice
1 cup of water
Peppercorns (optional)
1x orange rind
juice of one orange
Crushed red pepper (optional)
Directions
Slice onions real thin in any shape you want.
Make brining liquid: Boil rice wine vinegar, water, orange peel and peppercorns
Once liquid get to a boil, turn off the heat and add orange juice
Pour brine on top of sliced red onions
Cover with paper towel to get to room temp then throw in fridge
