🐟 Food Find Friday - Jan 12, 2024
For those new here, every week I explore the yummy world of food and share some cool things I find from the past 7 days.
Let’s go.
🐟 #1 Quit yet?
Today is national quitter’s day. Yes that’s a thing. People set their new year resolutions and go back to old habits today. Are you one of them? I’m tweaking some of my systems around eating behaviors so I can’t ever quit. Hit reply if you’re still on track.
🐟 #2 War of Caesar
Americans love Caesar salad. There’s this cultural association between Caesar salad and Italian-American food (think spaghetti and meatballs with red sauce plated on top of a red-and-white checkered tablecloth). But it’s actually a Mexican invention from Tijuana. The war of who invented it will make you even more hungry.
🐟 #3 Rao’s FTW
There is nothing with store-bought tomato sauce. My favorite store-bought item, Rao’s Marinara, made the Top-15 best jarred tomato sauce. I like to make my own sauce but who’s got hours to do this these days? Get some here.
🐟 #4 🤣
I’ll be doing this the next time I make empanadauuuuurus.
That’s it for this week. What’d you think? Hit reply to share your own food finds – I'd love to include them here!
See you next Friday.
